Every person has different needs.
The gbaHD runs on the Spartan 7 Accelerator FPGA Board which is known for causing trouble with modern chargers that support PD (Power Delivery) like the infamous Nintendo Switch one to name one to avoid. Due to this, the gbaHD team only recommends to use 5V chargers, chargers that ONLY SUPPORT 5V!!! You can damage your FPGA board, so please, pay attention to this as we cannot take responsability for whatever you break.
Most of you would probably have a charger from an old phone around, however, if you are one of those that don’t, get this pack. The above charger is from the Chinese brand Hagibis. It is the brand we personally use to test our custom metal consoles, we’ve measured the voltage with different devices and it never goes over 5.24V/2A which is up to specs. It is very, very stable with the gbaHD.
This pack also includes a high-quality 2m thick silicone cable so you can hook up your console wherever you need.
Also included is a high-quality gold-plated 2m HDMI-to-Mini HDMI cable by uGreen, another Chinese brand that we personally use here.
