Pre-order conditions:

• Pre-order time will be 11/11/2024 to 02/12/2024. It opens on Single’s Day (11.11) and it closes on Cyber Monday (02.12), right after Black Friday.
• Pre-orders cannot be cancelled, but colour can be modified (upon request) before the closing deadline.
• Price will not be modified.
• Manufacture time will start the next day after the pre-order ends and will take around 10 days. (If you are planning to get this for a Christmas gift, you may not be able to receive it before the 25th depending on your location.) If we get all parts made in time or earlier than expected and you want to try with express shipping, we don’t mind to organise it for you, but even with the extra cost for DHL/FeDex, we cannot guarantee you it will arrive in time.
• Shipping will start between the 15-20 of December after we conduct proper QC on the manufactured parts. We reserve the right to adjust this date if the situation requires so to ensure you get a quality product. We’ll keep you informed through Twitter/X as everything gets done and we get ready to packaging and shipping. Our logistics partners work all 365 days and we have different priority channels that take no holidays, so no worries about delays, etc.
• Shipping to Europe 27 member countries will only be possible through express shipping (FeDex/DHL).
• All orders are fully insured.
• For the first 25 orders only, we’ll gift you a Mancloud’s Shield DIY kit (custom black SNES port included) for you to put together for your gbaHD Metal. Consider this a little Christmas gift from us to keep the spirit of DIY-ing a cool-looking gbaHD Metal.

DESCRIPTION

Zwenergy’s gbaHD project with Mancloud’s GBASP Shield in a premium metal body. CNC-machined from a single block of aluminium, giving it a perfect, seamless look all across the different sides and angles. Heavily post-processed to achieve a silky-smooth finish and then anodised in GOLD and DARK GRAY.

After much debate, we’ve decided to go with the gold and dark gray colours as they give that sleek look that this kind of console needs. Matte black is not included in the pre-order because it’s our flagship limited edition colour only available for assembled consoles.

Same style that we’ve been offering on our fully-built gbaHD SP Metal consoles, but now to do it yourself!

Top and bottom parts are made in MJF PA-12 nylon, one of the most premium plastic materials used today in the EV industry due to its sheer precision. It’s hard, very scratch-resistant (apply common sense, please) and it ages beautifully like a good pair of full-grain leather shoes. It is easy to clean and it’s also very resistant to fingerprints, so it’s the perfect combination for a product on a desk monitor or TV that you may touch as often as you change cartridges. These parts are made of plastic to prevent blocking the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals on the FPGA board.

For the first time, you’ll notice that there is an option to choose the gbaHD Metal with a clear top. It’s up to you if you prefer the top to be black (MJF) or crystal clear to see the GBASP motherboard.

• No controllers, no cartridges included
